When a fire breaks out in a room, the heat generated by the fire causes the temperature of the solution inside the BONPETinno ampoule to increase exponentially.
How It Works
AUTOMATIC WAY

INCREASE

DECOMPOSE
Within a short time the solution starts to decompose and generate gas. When the temperature inside the ampoule reaches around ±90°C or the room temperature is around ±290°C – 360°C, the gas generated inside the ampoule causes the ampoule to burst and extinguish the flames in about 7 – 17 seconds.

BURST
Normally it takes about 1 minute 16 seconds for BONPETinno to burst automatically once the room temperature has reached around ±290°C – 360°C.
MANUAL WAY
THROW THE AMPOULE INTO THE FIRE
Take BONPETinno from its holder and remove the stainless steel caps from both ends of the ampoule. Then throw the ampoule into the fire. The ampoule will burst and the solution will douse the flames.
DILUTE THE CHEMICALS WITH WATER
Break the ampoule at the pre-prepared, marked place with a hard instrument and dilute the solution inside with water to a maximum ratio of one ampoule to 12 litres of water. Then use the diluted solutions to splash onto the fire
Dilution method is recommended :
1. When there is enough time to get water
2. When there is more than one fire with one ampoule of BONPETinno left
3. If water is not forbidden as part of the regulations for tackling a fire in the
material in question (for example petrol or kerosene)
